The Essence Of Yoga
Attainment is when the body has been conquered, not forgotten.
Your body is the gateway to your ultimate freedom and awareness.
People think that yoga means standing on their head or put your leg behind your head. Before trying all that you should learn, how to stand firm on your feet and how to sit with your spine erect and body still.
Unless you love the body, and unless you understand the body, you cannot grow spiritually. The body is temple of your soul. – Osho
Without a healthy body nothing is possible in this life. In the path of Hatha yoga body is the gateway to the inner most self.
Yoga practice builds the energy within the system rather then draining it away.
When you perfect your asana then there pranayama begins.
Asanas prepare and maintain the proper functioning of the body. Pranayama helps in the free flow of energy.
Pranayama calms the mind by regulating the breathing, which helps to regulate the thoughts in the mind. The breath is either quick or short when your mind is upset or anxious. By regulating the breath you interrupt and regulate your thoughts. This is why pranayama is preparation to meditation.
Mindful pranayama prepares you toward Dhyana (meditation).
When the body is relaxed and free of tension and the breathing is calm, this is the beginning of meditation.
As the mind is quieter through meditation our own true nature is reflected. The ways open to find unity.
Yoga is not some thing to be practiced only when you meditate or when you do yoga posture. But to be aware all through your life day and night, to be completely aware and awake.
Hatha yoga is meditation through action. Practicing without any expectation or living it to experience the quality of godliness within yourself without expecting anything in return.

Sadhana
Sadhana means devotion in your practice giving without any expectation as an offering to your consciousness. Work without attachment to the fruits of the labour.
A devoted practice with awareness and consciousness leads to Svadhyaya (Self study).
The path of sadhana or devotion you will just love. Devote completely to yourself or the path you have received from your Guru.
As a sadhaka (student) be receptive and be ready to accept.
In the yoga way is there is nothing to de done or there is nothing to do. Have a rest and be ordinary and be natural and just be yourself.
The devotion (Bhakti) in your Sadhana becomes love and you know yourself better. Open yourselves completely become like a child live and be it totally.
Asana is a balance between rest and movement. Drop the reaction. And allow more and more responses.
Asana practice has to be a play, practice as enjoyment, practice as worship then it is beautiful and it has a grace to it. Drop your frustration, fear, expectation just be open, receptive and experimental to experience it.
Yoga postures are nothing but just a methodology to break the blocks that you have created your body.

Art of Teaching
Teaching yoga is to inspire you by sharing tools, tips, and thoughts to help deepen and expand your yoga practice.
Yoga cannot be taught , it has to be learned. The Guru cannot transfer it to you or deliver it to you. The master is one who illuminates your darkness away.
He shows you the path that there is some thing there. a treasure and now you have to work hard. By yourself you will have to take a long route. But through the master you come to yourself.
Igniting the minds with the physical extension and mental expansion of an individual well being.
Teaching is an art of sharing and guiding ones experience.
One who has a strong personal practice and clear understanding is a good teacher and a guide.
BACK BENDING
Practice your asana to get control without being aggressive and straining. Only patience with awareness pays. Just be open and receptive.
STEP 1
The spine is the root of the human system. So in backbends we bring the mind to all the levels. It is not about doing the asana but to experience it.
STEP 2
You learn to educate the entire human system without forgetting any invisible parts of the body, even the toes are activated in backbends.
STEP 3
The subconscious mind is made to be more than conscious in backbends. Then you know not only is there a freedom to the spine, but there is a freedom to the spirit.
